Duathlon

The Duathlon was really fun...

We had to run two times around the field and then we jumped on our bikes. We rode like crazy around the tennis court. We had to go around three times. We jumped off and had to run to the finish place.

We are really proud of how we are ABLE to run and bike. We showed we were WILLING to try hard on our bikes and in our running.

What a great day we had!

Many exciting things...

We have started doing a PMP (perceptual motor programme) at Ladbrooks School and it is awesome and very busy! We are having a lot of fun and working hard. Our teacher, Keryn, is too busy to take photos during the programme, but she will ask someone to take some on Thursday so you can all be jealous.

We have also got our school's DUATHLON tomorrow. Watch this space for photos of our great biking and running.

Our friend, Sarah

Sarah is our friend. Her cousin, Toby, used to be in Weka last year. Sarah is a great helper. She likes to sit with us and learn with us. She likes to sit and listen to our songs and poems and special counting. Sarah has togs and a hat to wear when we go swimming. She doesn't get into the pool, though, because she likes to watch us playing and splashing in the water.

Eating lunch...

We have our lunch inside each day. It is a great time to chat, chat, chat! Sometimes it can take us half an HOUR to eat our food. My goodness!

Fun with Balloons

We had fun the other day for fitness. We had a lot of funny balloons and used different part of our bodies to bounce them up high into the air! It was great and there were lots of laughs!

Swimming

While the weather is warm, we go swimming in our school pool. Lots of us can put our head under the water and blow bubbles. Some of us can even float and kick! We are amazing swimmers!
